I have joined Kim Klassens Be Still - fifty two class, which is a year long journey……. centered around still life photography…… I have never done an online class before, but I really like Kim's work and am really looking forward to it. The object of the class is to inspire me…. to pause…take time…slow down…. capture quiet amongst the chaos…….

I had a lovely walk, around Ide Hill today and afterwards decided to have a look in the village Church, St Marys. As the door was firmly shut, I wasn't even sure if the church was open, but a tentative attempt revealed that it was. As soon as I walked in and shut the door behind me, the silence was amazing and so peaceful. A perfect place for quiet contemplation and thankfulness. #Idehill #StMaryschurch These are white Cowannia alliums from my garden. I visited Sarah Ravens garden last Summer and went a bit mad buying lots of allium bulbs. I love them and wanted a succession of them, so these are the first (and smallest), of the four different varieties that I bought. #srkitchengarden
