Heading back to the B&B to get changed for dinner and couldn't resist stopping to see the surfers heading in to the sea in the sunset.

Headed off to Wales the weekend before last, as I have been wanting to go to Mumbles in the Gower Peninsula for ages to take some landscape photos.
Stayed in a great B&B in Mumbles, with the best local bacon.... (http://www.langlandroad.co.uk) The weather wasn't great and the sky was very bland, so I decided to concentrate on the patterns in the sand. I have always loved how the combination of the sea, tide and wind can create such amazing patterns. Apparently sand enthusiasts like me are called "arenophiles", but I am going to keep this quiet ! Managed to get the panel of images below ready for a competition this week and was really delighted with the judges comments. |
