Both these pictures below are of flowers from my garden.
The rose was picked a few weeks ago and I have been having a go at drying them myself, which is a first for me !
Took a detour through the countryside yesterday on our way back from Brighton and stumbled upon these Exmoor ponies. They were on Chailey Common, Sussex and there were also some long horned cows walking through the field. As you can see, the ponies were very wary and certainly keeping an eye on them !
Been working on a Primary Colours Project and as Spring is such a great time of year, decided to focus on flowers.
Which one is your favourite ?
46/365 Day at the Beach
So, after all the rain and storm we have had, it was lovely to have a sunny day today. Decided to head for the beach for an ice cream and long walk.
25/365 Golden Eagle in London
Went to Somerset House in London for an exhibition today and found there was also a falconry display on, which was fantastic. Although there were quite a few unhappy pigeons about.....
19/365 Paper Whites again....
Thought you'd better see these beautiful little flowers in colour too !
18/365 Paper Whites
Ok, so I bought these bulbs from Sarah Raven after seeing how she made a fab centre table piece for Christmas.
Unfortunately mine have only just flowered, so obviously weren't great at Christmas !
Narcissi Paperwhite 'Ziva' is a pure white, highly fragrant, multi-headed daffodil that makes a classic Christmas house plant. Place one pot on top of another – like a tiered wedding cake – for a spectacular winter table centrepiece.
